A new technology startup for business systems in Trondheim has secured a world-leading partner. Cillco will now double the number of employees and is looking for both experienced ERP resources and new graduates from NTNU at the same time as they establish and office in Oslo.
July 7th, Trondheim: Cillco started up in March 2022 and already has large Norwegian companies such as Avinor and Bertel O. Steen on its customer list. Now they aim for 30 MNOK in turnover and will hire 20 new employees in 2022.
- As soon as possible, we want to build a technology center here. Our location in Trondheim makes us stand out from other competitors and we will use the unique competence environment in the area to capture the ERP market at home and in the north. At the same time, we are growing in Oslo and setting up an office in Bjørvika just over the summer, says Roy Ugedal, CEO of Cillco.
Cillco has now received support from the world-leading technology company IFS. A provider of business systems and cloud services to international industry.

There is still a lot left to do for the Norwegian iindustry, necessary for Norwegian companies to become competitive on the international market. In order to recruit fresh talent, Cillco wants to establish agreements with leading educational institutions in the region, and will offer sponsorship of study tours and a flexible hybrid office. Marketing director Yngve Tronstad is open to hiring people with widely different IT backgrounds.
- We even have employees with education in game development, which is quite unconventional in our industry. But it shows that we are trying to think anew and strongly believe that this gives us an extra dimension. Cillco invests heavily in competence building and facilitation for the individual. If, for example, you want to go to Las Vegas to attend a developer conference, want to move to a location where we don't have an office or want to work from home for periods, we always find a solution. Great freedom is the key. These are important actions for us to attract people and become a leading player, says Tronstad.
